A gateway to understanding your country better
Democracy is a form of governance, which has been poetically referred to as a government for the people, of the people and by the people. That means that the people of a democratic country have the power to make decisions for themselves and their country. They have a chance to influence and shape their nations today and tomorrow. This in itself is a huge responsibility; a responsibility so big that every decision should be taken with a lot of consideration and deliberation. But are the people of today’s America ready to shoulder this kind of duty?
In this modern day world, one doesn’t seem to have time to give a thought to what is happening in their family member’s life, so where will they find time to think about the country. A simple survey would reveal that almost 3/4th of us have no clue as to what is happening in our government. But then one valid question would be where can we find such information that will help us become more responsible citizens. The various media channels always seem to be giving only a lop-sided perspective. What we need is an unbiased and factual view into the politics of our country and the events of our government. That is where I think a site like www.StateDemocracy.com comes in. It provides us a gateway to understand our country better. Along with information about the legislations and laws being made in this country, it gives us a chance to participate and interact with our elected representatives and various issue groups. It at least makes an attempt to ensure that information is available to us whenever we need it and that I think is the biggest feature of a website like this.

An innovative method for rallying support
The homepage of www.WebLobbying.com proclaims it as ‘The online voice of the people of the US’ and this I think is a very strong statement to make. It is this statement that got me curious about this website. Now days, you will find that there is no dearth of sites where you can voice your feelings. From general blogging websites to specific issue based websites, you can express yourself everywhere. This seemed to be another such website until I started reading some of the lobbies that were put up. The more I read, the more interested I became. Firstly, I must congratulate the people behind this website for the range of topics it covers, from science to politics, history to law; there is something in it to interest people from all backgrounds. Some of the lobbies seemed very important and I immediately found myself ‘taking action’ as they aptly worded it in the website. It was then that I realized there are so many things and issues we are ignorant about. It felt nice to know that apart from just reading up on various issues that need immediate attention; you can also participate in your own way in taking action. Each time you click the ‘take action’ button, an email is sent to the people who have the key to resolving that issue. This I felt was one instance where technology is being put to proper use.
Apart from the fact that I could take action, I also found this website very user friendly where in you can first acquaint yourself with the website through a simple demo video. This is very useful for first time users who don’t have a clue as to what they are looking for and don’t know how to go about understanding the website. The website is also clean without too much clutter and hence the main parts – the various lobbies, in this case- get the attention they deserve.

F.I.T ANGELS: Women Helping Women
F.I.T ANGELS (Future Is Today: Ambition, Nurturing, Goal Oriented, Empowered, Loving, Strong)
F.I.T. ANGELS was founded in January 2006 to allow me, Candice Bent, to give back to the community and share my skills, experience and knowledge with girls that are transitioning in to teenage motherhood. I, myself, was a teenage single mother, I was scared, confused and was not sure if I was going to be able to be a teen mom. I stayed focused, finished high school, continued onto college where I attained my Business Administration Certificate and shortly there after my now 12 year career began. My daughter recently graduated from High School and is starting her first year of college. Proof is in the pudding.
I am going to do my best to ensure you that "if I could do it so can you". I will share all my experiences, education, knowledge and guidance to assist you into transitioning into your new life as a single teenage mother.
I am from an Aboriginal background and want to get involved with my aboriginal culture. I want to focus on assisting young aboriginal girls in achieving their dreams and goals as teen mothers.
Our ultimate goal is to create a culture of women helping women, and enable the women of the future to continue on a successful, health and happy life path.
Our Vision Statement is to enable teen moms to make a successful transition into motherhood with the following qualities:
Ambition
Nuturing
Goal Oriented
Enpowered
Loving
Strong
The world is full of ANGELS, it is this ANGELS that we will seek to be part of our organization in a volunteer or supporter capacity.
Every client will strive to become ANGELS. The future is today.

Articles embrace many directions, from animal rights to ecology, to interviews of provacative women. We have interviews with two women anti-polygamy advocates, and the woman who discovered the origin of the Amazon warriors.
We have many ORIGINAL powerful images of women also striving to show many artistic representations of spirituality, matriarchy and the empowered female. We teach herbal health and have articles on the world's greatest exorcist. We teach how people can become ministers in their own homes to their family and the world. We have galleries of powerful women and advice in many areas. There is mystical theology, how to pray and find union with God.
